What Does Our AAHA Accreditation Mean For Your Pets?

Markham Veterinary Clinic is proud to let our clients and their pets know that we have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)! The AAHA is an international association comprised of veterinary care providers that are dedicated to providing high-quality standards for the ever-changing field of small animal private practice, and it sets the benchmark for excellence in veterinary care. As the only Markham vet clinic with AAHA accreditation, we want to tell you what this means for you and your pets.

AAHA’s standards are very well-defined, and they rest upon a veterinarian providing consistent high-quality care to all of their patients. These standards cover medications, surgeries, dentistry, disease and parasite control, and many others. A vet clinic cannot be accredited unless they meet the over 900 criteria that the AAHA looks for in an animal provider. By receiving this accreditation, we were able to show our pride in our veterinary care and that we truly want to serve the Markham area with the best care for many years to come.

We know that your pets mean the world to you, and you want them to receive outstanding care whenever they’re sick, hurt, or just need a routine checkup. As an AAHA-accredited vet clinic in Markham, we can successfully diagnose the cause of their symptoms, recommend the proper medications, and perform any necessary surgery to restore them to health and happiness. Patient care is always our top priority, and we look forward to helping your pet in any way we can.
