11th Markham Sparks Unit Visit

On Wednesday, April 3rd we were excited to have the 11th Markham Sparks Unit visit our clinic.

The group of 4 to 7 year olds has been learning about people and pets in our community and we were happy to show them our involvement with pets in the Markham area. Kelly Shore, a Veterinary Technician and our Practice Manager presented the girls with our Be A Tree program: a guide to dog bite prevention and understanding more about dog behaviour and body language.

The group was then able to practice some of what they had learned when they met Prince, a Labrador Retriever x Husky. Taryn, Angie, Kelly and Jamie then gave the unit a tour of our clinic and they concluded their visit by meeting Norman and Casper, who are Jamie’s 2 sphynx kittens. A great time was had by all, including Prince, Norman and Casper!
