Could an illness or injury be bothering your pet?
When people get sick or hurt, they go to the doctor, discuss their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, things aren’t always this straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they can’t tell us when something is wrong.
What’s more, many animals are able to hide the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.
Veterinary diagnostics allow us to identify and treat health problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can dramatically improve the chances of a positive outcome.
Our on-site diagnostic lab makes it quick and easy to run a wide variety of tests. In many cases, we can have results in just a few minutes. This means we can establish a treatment plan before you and your pet even leave the exam room.
When a physical exam and laboratory testing aren’t enough to reach a diagnosis, we rely on advanced imaging technology, including x-rays, onsite digital radiography, and ultrasound. These tools allow us to evaluate the bones and internal organs, identifying injuries, diagnosing illness and determining its severity.
Diagnostic images can be reviewed by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.
