Markham Vet Clinic welcomed the 11th Markham Sparks of Girl Guides Ontario for an educational and engaging evening! The Sparks participated in the “Be A Tree” Dog Bite Safety Education Program, gaining valuable knowledge on how to be safe around unfamiliar dogs.
Through interactive activities, the Sparks learned important skills like how to behave calmly when scared, how to greet dogs appropriately, and how to recognize canine behavior that might indicate potential danger. After the informative session, the Sparks enjoyed a tour of the clinic and even got to meet some of the adorable staff pets! It was a fun and educational evening for everyone involved, and we were thrilled to share our passion for dog safety with these bright young minds.
