Welcome Janaan! She is one of the prettiest cats ever! She is a 4 year old female Scottish Fold breed that Markham Veterinary Clinic recently had the pleasure of meeting. She was a new pet and client to us and was interested in having her spayed. Ovariohysterectomy (Spay) is a surgery to remove ovaries and uterus from a pet to avoid potential diseases and cancers. Janaan had preoperative bloodwork to ensure her internal organs were in good health before a general anesthetic. We recently performed her spay surgery and she is in speedy recovery. She is busy resting at home with her Elizabethan collar to avoid licking at her sutures. We can’t wait to see her routinely for her preventive health care every year!
